Research/Reasons on How to Consume Only GOOD SUGAR

Lisa-Dawn Sheridan, MA
The Flower Child

"Caloric restriction (CR) is the
most effective method of slowing aging,
preventing diseases such as
atherosclerosis, diabetes and cancer,
and extending maximum life span in mammals.
Since the 1930s, studies in rats, mice, monkeys
and other species, have demonstrated
that CR can maintain life,
health and youth in animals
for extended periods of time."
-LEF  (Life Extension Foundation)

More Research  (Anti-Aging, Disease Prevention)
In 1973, an important study at Loma Linda University examined the effects of sugar (sucrose), glucose, fructose, honey, orange juice, and starch on the phagocytic index. [This study explains how your body's defense system is disabled as a result of the consumption of most commercially offered simple sugars]. The index was highest about 30 minutes after starch [or sugars], were ingested. The other materials-all sugars-caused the phagocytic index to decrease greatly. The index was lowest two hours after digesting the sugar. (Dr. Nancy Appleton, author of Lick the Sugar Habit).

What this means is astounding! That after ingesting 2 TABLESPOONS of regular sugar, your body's defense system is impaired for up to 2 hours. New studies now, say that immune system may compromised for up to 5 hours.

Do you ever wonder why kids get sick right after the Halloween holiday? Makes sense, right?  A further explanation of how this process affects your health, is included in The Flower Child's latest book,
8-Weeks-to-Indigo, (slated for release September, 2015).

SOLUTIONS:
✅   Sin-Free Sugar
✅   Xylitol
✅   Glyconutrients

In my latest book, I explain how sugars affect the aging process as well as all major diseases.  We essentially have an "energy bank account" that is determined how much energy we have. This is important when stimulants, sugar, toxins, even emotional disturbances, drain our savings, and create an imbalanced state - our energy bank account gets drained and heavy withdrawals occur. This results in a lower balance of your energy account and results in serious swing back effect: aging and disease.

The new book, 8-Weeks-to-Indigo, now completes decades of research that will prove how to achieve prolonged, quality, living. Through everyday, easy to do steps, these methods date back to ancient times when natural cures were commonplace in the home and can help you right now, today. Our modern disease promoting lifestyles, emotional patterns, what we are choosing to eat/consume, and the lack of controlling of the level of damage. Understand how to change and how more Indigo is the key!

The Flower Child's ultimate mission is to help others to achieve their best state of wellness. We hope that we have been able to help you are and your family these past few years. Leave a comment or question. Thank you for your readership.

HEALTH: Sulfites in wine may be affecting 5% of population (allergy/asthma)

WHO IS AT RISK?

"The most common adverse reactions, including wheezing, chest tightness and coughing are estimated to affect 5 to 10% of people with asthma. Symptoms are more likely when asthma is poorly controlled. However, adverse reactions to sulfites can also occur when there is no preceding history of asthma. Reactions can be mild through to potentially life threatening." [1]

FULL DOCUMENT [2]

The FDA says that one person out of 100 is considered
highly allergic to sulfites. According to Dr. Vincent Marinkovich, an allergist and clinical immunologist who has performed extensive research on SO 2, sulfites pose no danger to about 99.75% of the population; the highest risk group are asthmatics (about 5% of the population) and only about 5% of this group is allergic to sulfites.

Many people, however, have little tolerance for sulfites. They are considered sulfite-sensitive. Even for moderate wine drinkers, the average level of sulfites found in many commercial wines can cause heartburns or other side effects. Unpleasant reactions include burning sensations, hives, cramps, and flushing of the skin. For them, organic wines are an especially good choice since they contain minimal amounts of sulfites that will in most cases lie below their threshold level.

Top Reasons To Cleanse: Environmental/Chemical Pollution

Environmental/Chemical Pollution

Air
According to the EPA, there are over 80,000 chemicals in our air, of which, only a small percentage of which have been tested for safety. We breathe these in everyday, and more so if we live in a larger city.

Home
The FDA does not have ANY approval measures on the cosmetic (body care, lotions, face creams) allowing harmful parabens [estrogen mimicker], into our markets harming uneducated consumers. If you go into your bathroom right now, and have a lotion or something you bought from a trendy lotion place, you may find the PARABEN chemical in the ingredients. Parabens confuse our endocrine and estrogen receptors. "Extremely harmful" to humans.

Water
Poisons in our tap water due to municipal water filtration insufficiency.  Pharmaceutical drugs have been found in 22/24 cities (AP).  In Philadelphia, 56 drugs and their bi-products.  In Southern California, 18.5 million people were exposed to anti-epileptic and anti-anxiety medications.  In San Francisco, sex hormones were found at high levels in the city water.

HORMONE CHANGE, ONE OF THE MAJOR SIDE EFFECTS OF "METH"

Estrogen, testosterone, and methamphetamine.

The gonadal steroid hormone, estrogen, can diminish the degree of striatal dopamine depletion resulting from methamphetamine. In this article, we describe the conditions of this estrogen neuroprotection as well as the potential for estrogen and testosterone to enhance methamphetamine-induced neurodegeneration of the nigrostriatal dopaminergic system. When administered prior to a neurotoxic regimen of methamphetamine, estrogen significantly decreases the amount of striatal dopamine depletion in intact or gonadectomized female, but not male, mice. This capacity for estrogen to function as a neuroprotectant can occur quite rapidly, at 30 min prior to methamphetamine administration, and with relatively low doses of estrogen (1 microg estradiol benzoate). Estrogen remains an effective neuroprotectant in neonatally  female mice treated with testosterone, but not in female mice that were gonadectomized prior to puberty. Nor does estrogen demonstrate any beneficial effects when administered after methamphetamine. Recent data have indicated some conditions where gonadal steroids can increase the extent of striatal neurodegeneration in response to methamphetamine. Specifically, when some existing perturbation is present in the nigrostriatal dopaminergic system, treatment with estrogen enhances the extent of striatal dopamine depletion to methamphetamine. Similarly, increased striatal dopamine depletion to methamphetamine is observed in gonadectomized male mice treated with testosterone. PMID: 17105924 [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE]

More on this important hormone:[...Thus, we conclude that estrogen or its α-receptor is an absolute necessity for fertility in the male.]
Estrogen is the major hormone responsible for the characteristics typically thought of as female. Required for proper development of sexual organs, completion of skeletal system, regulation of the menstrual cycle and maintenance of pregnancy, estrogen is extremely important in the growth and development of the female body. During the menstrual cycle, estrogen is secreted by the developing egg follicle and aids in thickening of the endometrium.
Also one of the major hormones of pregnancy, estrogen supports the production of fluid in the reproductive tract which enhance the survival of sperm by slightly neutralizing cervical secretions. Towards the end of pregnancy, estrogen promotes the growth of milk ducts within the breasts and enhances the effect of prolactin (major hormone responsible for lactation in the female).

NOTE FROM THE FLOWER CHILD:
"So, basically what the above is saying is that crystal meth amphetamine, DRAMATICALLY DECREASES ESTROGEN in the brain due to the dopamine/testosterone connection.  This can be a very serious health complication."
  • For men, even worse pubescent boys (13-17), hormonal imbalances can cause impotence or "crystal dick", the slang for not having the ability to reach an erection.
  • In women, fertility issues such as not having a regular cycle for proper conception of the fetus - meaning you will not be able to get pregnant with this type of hormonal imbalance.
