Grapefruit Seed Extract (G.S.E.)


(G.S.E.) Clean Spray Directions:


  1. Have an empty spray bottle filled with approximately 4 ounces of purified water.
  2. Depending on the strength of the bacteria that you are eliminating, these are BASIC guidelines (consult the manufacturer for more information www.nutribiotic.com).


The Flower Child Uses:
  • 30 drops for Regular Strength:  for regular messes such as counter tops that are not contaminated with salmonella, e.coli, and other aggressive bacterial strains.  
  • 60 drops for Extra strength:  for dangerous microbial clean-up (see recipe below)

THE BEACH = FIGHT MRSA
mix 20 drops in 4oz


  • spray on hands when eating foods
  • spray eyes and ears with ocean/sand contact
  • add drops to natural lotions/hair products



THE PETS
mix 30 drops in 4oz


  • in bath shampoo
  • on warm cloth for face cleaning
  • quick feet cleaning



WOMENS HEALTH
mix 30 drops in 4oz


  • vaginal itch (if severe, add 5 drops to 2 tsp solution and apply directly to itch)
  • candida/yeast infection = spray liberally throughout the day*
  • after sex to prevent bacterial infections




RESEARCH
External Use: GSE can be used externally as a disinfectant for both intact skin and to prevent infection in wounds. A study in Brazil found it to be 100% effective (at 100 ppm) for skin disinfection when used as a pre-surgical prep compared to an effectiveness rate of 72% for alcohol and 98% for commercially available surgical soap.*


TOXICITY/IRRITATION
Never use G.S.E. (citricidal acid) concentrate - it's a concentrated acide - always dilute with water or another liquid be using.  


WARNING ON OTHER BRANDS:  IN PROCESSING GSE MANY COMPANIES ARE TRYING TO MANUFACTURE AND MARKET THE CITRICIDAL ACID, BUT HARMFUL COMPOUNDS MAY EXIST.  TFC RECOMMENDS THAT CONSUMERS BE AWARE OF THIS AND USE CAUTION.
